Spire End of Life on Terminals – Dec 31st 2023
Castles Technology has announced the following Spire products will reach End of Life on the 31st December 2023:
- SPc5
- SPg7
- SPp10
- SPc50/60/70 – (End of life 31st December 2022)
After this date, it will not be possible to purchase any new products, spare parts or accessories for the terminals. Currently the parts are in short supply, and there is a cost associated in replacement of parts such as batteries, leads, sim cards etc.
Castles acquired Spire in October 2020, with the intention to “innovate to provide merchants acquirers with future-forward payments solutions”. The announcement of End of Life comes as Castles will focus on providing customers and partners with products of the highest quality.
